Before the arrival of the Spanish Conquistadors, Xel-Ha was a very popular place among the locals, a safe port for Maya sailors and a sanctuary for devoted worshippers, located on this beautiful coast. It was the eyes of the land and the entrance to the underground world.

 

For us, modern mortals, it is the largest natural aquarium in the world and a peaceful destination that offers a break from our chaotic daily lives and makes a perfect location for our sunset wedding package.  This is a place to escape from the world and lose yourself in the jungle, the underground rivers and the immaculate cenotes.
