Religious/non-denominational services are a wonderful way to tie the knot.  However, couples should keep in mind that these ceremonies do not change your marital status here in Mexico or back home.  If you’d like to do so at a later time, you may plan an additional ceremony with a justice of the peace in your country of origin or you may do both the religious and civil ceremony here in Mexico.

Catholic visitors may be married in the local parish church.

Required documentation for both the bride and groom:

  • Valid passport
  • Mexican entry visa
  • Four witnesses (we can provide them)
  • Certificate from the couple’s own parish priest (stating that they have completed the required pre-marriage courses)
